I Love PBS – a Joan Jett Parody.

Last week a friend posted the simple declaration, “I love PBS,”  on Facebook.  The melody of Joan Jett’s classic I Love Rock ‘n Roll immediately sprang into my head.  Here’s the one verse, slapdash parody I came up with.  Not enough time for additional verses this week.  Probably just as well.

I saw him standing there watching Downton Abbey
I knew he must be new to the PBS scene.
The Crawley family came on
The Great War going strong
An’ I could tell it wouldn’t be long
Till he he was with me, yeah me
An’ I could tell it wouldn’t be long
Till he was with me, yeah me, singn’

I love PBS, so send another check for the pledge drive baby.
I love PBS, so come on take a chance and watch with me.
